This movie was taken from the real story that occurred on July 20 1944. At that time, several leaders of German military operations reinforce the aims Valkyrie regime to topple Hitler. But unfortunately the operation failed, a bomb triggered by Colonel Claus Graf Schenk von Stauffenberg (Tom Cruise) is only wounded Hitler's arm. There are at least 15 times of the murder attempt to Adolf Hitler, but all of them failed including Valkyrie military operations.
It seems that Hitler can only die through his own hands, after 9 months of this coup.

Colonel Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg was a good soldier and love the nation. His status as a German soldier who have sworn eternal faithful-to the Führer, Adolf Hitler (David Bamber), does not make Colonel Stauffenberg become blind to Hitler's severity. Stauffenberg was the son of a Bavarian nobleman who entered German's military official since 1926. In the year 1943, when the front battle in World War II in Tunisia, Africa with the Panser-10 Division, he lost the left eye, right hand, and the two left hand fingers.
From all the battle that he joined, Stauffenberg realized that Germany was being brought to the destruction. He realized that Hitler is not only the enemy of the world, but the enemy of German.
Although Adolf Hitler is seen as "God", but not all German people love Hitler and agrees with Hitler's policies, even inside the military itself.

There are many thrilling scenes in this movie, especially when Colonel Stauffenberg tries to set up the bomb near the Führer and how he manage to escape when the bomb blows.

So personally I think this is a movie that you never want to miss.
